Akosua is married and mother of seven children who are all currently in school. The thirty-seven year old woman lives with her husband and children in a rented apartment in one of the mining towns in Ghana. She works hard to support her husband to provide for the family. Akosua is a trader. She trades in earthenware. She sells on a table top at the local market. She procures the wares from the manufacturers in nearby communities. Akosua sometimes also treks to other towns to sell on their market days. She has been in business for fourteen years and wants a loan to procure wares in bulk.
