Comfort is 62 years old. She is married with five children. Currently her children are independent but she lives with two of her grandkids. She sells cocoa drinks, meat pies and spring rolls in a community school around her neighborhood. Schoolchildren in Ghana enjoy cocoa drinks and meat pie as a snack. Cocoa drinks are prepared with cocoa powder, mixed with water, sugar and milk and put into a refrigerator in sachets. The schoolchildren enjoy ithe drinks with meat pies and spring rolls. It is the main source of income for her to support her household. She makes a profit of GHS 5 – GHS 7 a day. With the loan, she wants to buy cocoa powder, sugar, vegetable oil and flour in bulk.
