N. Annet is the leader of her lending group in Mukono. She is 39 years old and a widow with five children aged 25 to 27 years of age. She also takes care of her parents. Annet has a bar business in Kikooza that she has been running for eight years and she is grateful that with the help of loans, she is able to make 210,000 Ugandan shillings as weekly profits which was not the case before the loans.

Annet sells beer, soda, wine and other brews and she hopes to expand her business further to be able to make more profits that will enable her build her own house as well as continue educating her children. Annet needs a loan to be able to restock her bar with more crates of beer, soda, mineral water and wines.
