The group “Ametauna” is represented by Bleidy and is comprised of 15 members who resiD. in the area of Trompillo. They are in their third cycle together, and have demonstrated responsibility, solidarity, and fulfillment of their payments. All of the members of the group have their own distinct businesses that are their source of income, such as selling groceries in neighborhood stores, selling of small pastries, cosmetics, food, handmaD. pots, jewelry, ENTEL [telecommunications company] service representative, and as promoters of different lines of cosmetics.

Bleidy is the group president. She sells meals at in different local markets. She has been working in this area for the past three years, and she will use her loan to increase her working capital. Alejandra and Jimena have a grocery store where they have been selling dry goods for about 10 years. Maria, Esther, Dania and Neiza sell cosmetics (in bulk and individually), mostly via a catalog. They have an average of 3 years of experience in this field.

Each of the members indicates that the market is more demanding in regard to products, so if there is competition there is also demand for the products in reasonable quantities, so they will be able to obtain the income necessary to sustain their families. The use of this credit is the acquisition of products and raw ingredients to enlarge their businesses and improve their income to proviD. their families with a better quality of life.

Todos los miembros del grupo tienen sus distintos negocios que son su fuente D. ingresos como la venta D. abarrotes en tiendas D. barrio, venta D. masitas, cosméticos, comida, masetas elaboradas a mano, joyas, atención en punto ENTEL y como promotoras D. diferentes lineas D. cosméticos.
