Ashaa T. is 56 years old. She is a mother of six grown children. Ashaa operates a cafeteria at the Kilifi town bus stage and has been selling food for two years. Her business has been a success because of the high number of workers in her business location and the good service she offers her clients.
Ashaa serviced her first loan from KADET well and is now glad to be borrowing a second one. With this loan, Ashaa plans buy a charcoal cooker, kitchen cutlery and more food stock to meet the needs of her customers.
She hopes to expand her cafe to be able to cater to the increasing number of customers.
