Zawadi
Zawadi M. is a 31-year-old married mother of two children. She lives in Kilifi, in the Coast province of Kenya. Zawadi is a business lady and has been selling clothes, shoes and Kangas (African printed materials) in the busy Biashara Street in Kilifi. She has been in this business for seven years.

Zawadi has been in KADET for a long time. She has been able to borrow and pay back two loans very well. This will now be her third loan. With the money, she plans to purchase men’s wear, shoes and an assortment of Kangas. Her customers are the locals as well as the visitors who frequent the area.

She hopes to rent another store and expand her business by purchasing more stock.
