Rebecca, 50 years old, is a rice farmer. She owns a farm that she hopes will provide her family with enough income to buy adequate food, clothing and other basic needs. She has eight children. Her eldest is 31. She wishes that someday she will be able to buy more farms to be able to support all of of her family's needs.
She is asking for a loan of PHP 12,000 through Kiva partner Community Economic Ventures, Inc. She will use the loan to buy farming necessities for growing her crops.
