Nuth S., 32, sells food for construction workers in the city and is able to earn $2 US per day to help cover the family expenses. She is married and lives with her three children in Takeo province, Cambodia. She has been in her business since 1993. Her husband is a construction foreman earning $13 US per day.
S. and her husband work hard and help each other to ensure a good standard of living for the family. They are seeking to improve their businesses as well. S. is requesting a loan of $1000 US from CREDIT, Kiva’s partner. She wants to use the loan to purchase more wood for her husband to build houses for his customers. This is her second loan from CREDIT.
