Sixta is a member of the Amor Divino ("Divine Love") Community Bank. She is a married 55-year-old mother of three children. Sixta makes a living baking pastries, an activity she carries out with a firewood oven. In the past few months she has made a smaller quantity and only on orders because the smoke is harming her health. Currently she also prepares jellies, flans and sandwiches and is planning to purchase a gas oven. Sixta is requesting a loan of 3000 soles (approximately $1,050), which she plans to use to purchase ingredients to make her products. Sixta's dreams are to build a home, buy an oven and for her daughter to have a business.
