Pablo Ramon
Pablo Ramón Vílchez A. raises livestock. He will use this loan to buy 5 bullocks which he will later sell when they reach the required weight to sell at a good profit. He began as a basic grains farmer growing beans and corn. His eldest son helped him with the farm work. He has always worked and continues to plant beans and corn as well as some vegetables, like potato. He hopes the purchase of these animals will increase his income for he will use the profits from their sale to buy still more cattle and thus increase his inventory. Pablo Ramón Vílchez is married and his wife works as an elementary school teacher in a school located in Condega. He has two sons and two daughters who are under his care. He has had 10 loans since 2001 and has collaborated with Ceprodel for 10 years. The beneficial impact of these loans has been considerable in that they allowed him to improve and diversify his work activities which, in turn, has led to improved quality of life in that he used to live in the countryside and now, with his earnings, has been able to buy a house in the city where he lives with his family. This has allowed his children to be able to go to school and have greater opportunities in their lives.
