This village bank group consists of eleven members who are located in Chek village, Kandal province. They will all use their loans for different purposes.

Mrs. Sengly T. is the village bank president who has been selected by the members. She is a laborer in a garment factory while her husband, Mr. Veany Nam, is a farmer who owns a small piece of land to cultivate rice. Currently, her husband’s field has infertile soil. Therefore, Mrs. Sengly T. has decided to ask for a third loan to buy both fertilizers and rice seed. The couple has two children who are too young to go to school or work.
