After arriving in the United States thirty years ago from the western coast of Greece, Athanasios quickly applied his entrepreneurial spirit to start his own hotdog food cart. For the past twenty-six years, Athanasios has built a regular clientele of diverse Manhattan clients. He says that people appreciate his clean and friendly service.
Athanasios is a longtime ACCION USA client who has always paid on time. He chooses to borrow from ACCION USA because of the trusting relationship that he has built over the years. With his current loan he will be purchasing food inventory that includes hotdogs, sausages, and buns.
Athanasios says that his business is very dependent upon the weather. Since his business is based outdoors, he is busiest in the summer months but he operates year-round in almost all types of weather.
