Esther is 30 years old and a married mother with two children. Both of her children are in school. Esther is an enthusiastic business woman who works to provide for her children. She does not relax when it comes to business as she claims it is the only source of income for the family. She is a trader and sells lingerie like bras and panties, assorted soaps and baby diapers, etc. She sells her goods through hawking (that is house-to-house selling). She takes delivery of stock from Accra and sells the stock through hawking in smaller quantities. She wants to use the loan to buy bales of lingerie, soaps, and diapers in bulk to increase her inventory and sales for good income as we celebrate Christmas. She believes this loan would help her save some money to start paying part of the children’s school fees and utility bills.
