Enhtsetseg is 44 years old and lives with her husband and two children in Huvsgul province, Mongolia. She and her family live together in a ger, a traditional Mongolian nomadic tent. Enhtsetseg has a daughter and a son, ages 21 and 18, who attend a university and a local secondary school. Enhtsetseg owns a grocery retail business that she runs with the help of her husband in her town. She started her business in 1997. In the years her business has been in operation, it has become one of the most stable grocery operations in the area and Enhtsetseg hopes to keep growing and expanding her business in the future. In 2009, she bought a 0.3-hectare field in order to plant vegetables to harvest and sell. She is requesting an 800,000-tugrug loan in order to purchase more vegetables so that she can increase her sales this winter.
