Paulina
Paulina P. de Ortuño, married and mother of ten children, used to sell baby and bedding products. For this activity, Ms. Paulina needed to travel often to the city of Santa Cruz, where the majority of her clients were located.

Sadly, right before the departure at 4 am for one of her many trips, in the Ceja de El Alto, she was the victim of a robbery: she and her niece were taken by surprise and beaten up and their merchandise was stolen. Her youngest daughter suffered serious injuries and Ms. Paulina was hospitalized.

Since that episode, Ms. Paulina can't travel or exert herself, which has forced her to switch activities and she is now dedicated to the sales of soft drinks and sandwiches. For that reason, she needs money to set up a restaurant, in order to serve lunches and generate her own income without risking her life.
