Faustina is thirty-two. She is married and a mother of two children, both in school. She lives with her children and husband in a rented apartment in one of the tourist attraction centres in Ghana. Since the community is a coastal town in the region, the majority of the inhabitants are fishermen/women. Faustina is a hairdresser by profession. She has her workshop by one of the streets. She says she has been in business for over thirteen years and wants a loan to buy artificial hair and other working materials to be able to render better services to her valued clients.
