Nusula N. is the leader of her lending group in Lugazi. She is a hard-working lady with a business of selling yellow bananas, commonly known as "bogoya", from Lugalambo. She has been selling these alongside the Lugazi-Jinja road for over 19 years. She says that she is also a farmer growing passion fruit, beans and maize, which she also sells. Nusula is married, with nine children all in school and five other dependants who she cares for. She needs a loan to be able to buy more yellow bananas for resale so that she can make money to educate her children and improve their general welfare.
