Joseph is 37 years old and operates a "boda boda" (motorcycle taxi) business. Through his previous KES 40,000 loan, he was able to buy a motorbike and expand stock for his retail shop, which is his other source of income. With this KES 80,000 loan, he plans to expand his business and open another shop. Joseph is widowed and has a 9-year-old daughter named Mary, who attends school.
