Our partner, Adela, age 32, is from Cusco and lives with her partner. She belongs to the village bank "Patron Santiago de Santiago", part of the Arariwa Association. She has two children. Lizbeth is only 7 years old and Caty is 9 years old. They are both in the social program Urpi Wasi where they go to school and live.

Adela spends some of her time selling fruits and vegetables from her home, and some of her time selling from her stall in the Cascaparo and Huancaro markets of Cusco. She has had this business for several years, and it has done well thanks to all the effort she puts in to her work. She is a hardworking, enterprising mother who has helped move her family forward. She would like a loan to buy more fruits and vegetables like onions, cabbage, lettuce and much more.

She is grateful for the opportunity provided by this loan and promises to complete her payments according to the schedule. She is pictured with her niece, 7 year old Mariela.
