Georgina is fifty-three years old. She is divorced and has one child, a daughter, who is grown and married. Georgina lives with her grandchildren in a rented apartment in Axim. Axim is along the coastal area in the western region of Ghana. For most, fishing is the main occupation.
Georgina, like many women, trades in fresh fish. She says she buys from the local fishermen/women. She has a cold store from which she sells her fish. She has been in business for six years and wants a loan to buy goods in bulk to increase her business.
