Laura P. es socia del banco comunal La Merced tiene una gran amistad con todas las socias de su banco, vive en el sector La Raya en la comunidad de Santa Ana, tiene 63 años de edad y se encuentra viuda hace 17 años ya que a su esposo le dio un paro cardiaco, concibieron tres hijos que se encuentran de 42, 38 y 28 años de edad, dos de ellos están casados y una es soltera juntas comparen todo incluido los gatos del hogar, con su difunto esposo y el esfuerzo conjunto lograron edificar su casa propia.

Laura trabaja elaborando pan desde que tenía quince años, tiene su local propio y su producción vende a sus vecinos de la comunidad o realiza entregas según le soliciten, sus labores inician muy temprano a las 3 de la mañana y termina a las 7 de la noche todos los días sin descansar y nos comenta que hay días buenos y malos pero hay que salir adelante.

Ella se encuentra en su segundo ciclo y con los créditos ha logrado pagar unas deudas y poder crear un capital, con el préstamo que le otorguen va a pagar la última letra de un terreno que compro, un poco en su negocio comprando harina, manteca, levadura, etc. y una pequeña parte en los gastos diarios de su casa.
