Paglaum Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PMPC), located in northwestern Mindanao, provides savings, credit, and other valuable services to the region’s enterprising poor. Founded in 1992, PMPC has grown to serve 40,000 members from its 14 branches and satellite offices. In 2010, the first branch was opened outside of the Mindanao region, where PMPC primarily operates.
