Mary Jean is a farmer. She is 42 years old and married. She has two children and her oldest is only 15. She cultivates rice on her land, which is one of the major agricultural crops in her town in Agusan del Sur. Mary Jean is a member of Community Economic Ventures, Inc. Her previous loan was used for farm financing, and she was also able to acquire 4 pigs. Now, she is requesting a loan of 10,000 PHP, which she will use to purchase necessary farm supplies. She is hopeful that this loan will help her farm and pig-raising business grow.
