Saka is 60 years old and married with twelve children, four of whom are attending school. He runs a bookshop where he also sells stationery, printing, bookbinding, and photocopying services. He's been in business for twelve years and has two employees. He also has a business providing electrical installations and selling spare auto parts. He says that he sells to schools, companies, and local residents and that business is good.
Saka successfully repaid a previous loan of Kes 20,000 from Faulu and has requested this loan of Kes 40,000 to increase his stock of books.
Saka describes himself as hardworking and enthusiastic and says that Faulu's financial assistance has really boosted his business. In the future, he hopes to help settle his children in business enterprises and also to open branches of his own business for his children.
