A loan of $975 helped purchase a car, a megaphone, and spices to sell.

Juan's story

Sra. Juan O. is 60 years old and lives in the San Miguel neighborhood of the city of Tegucigalpa. He has been selling condiments for 14 years. Many of his neighbors are regular customers. Juan also sells in places outside of Tegucigalpa such as Lamani, Curaren, San Isidro, and other villages. He also receives large orders from convenience stores, grocery stores, and cafeterias. His sales are made on a wholesale basis and at retail.

Juan lives with his wife and son, who are a big help to him. They all work selling his products and together they make a great team. Juan is requesting this loan to buy a car for when he travels to different locations promoting his products so that people will leave their houses to come buy them. In addition, he will buy a quintal (46 kg.) of spices such as cinnamon, MSG, curry, annatto, etc. This loan will ensure the success of his business and his family.
