Arvin D. is from the village of Poblacion, Catarman Camiguin Province. He is 31 years old. Arvin is married and has 2 school-aged children. To make a living, Arvin makes and sells food. The main source of income for the business comes primarily from peddling specialty food products like "chicharon," a dish made from fried pork rinds, in the local community. Arvin has been engaged in his business for more than 8 years and earns approximately 6,000 PHP a month.
In 2008, Arvin joined HSPFI to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business.
