Novie is a mother of three children. She manages a rice-farming business in Norala, South Cotabato. She works hard to improve the land and the crops she planted in order to have a good harvest. At the age of 38, her eldest child is 9 years old. She wants to continually support her family through her farm.
She heard about Community Economic Ventures, Inc., a Kiva partner that offers financial assistance with low interest rates. She became a member of CEVI in 2008. Now she would like to request a loan of 15,000 Philippine pesos to buy fertilizers and necessary supplies for her farm.
