Antonina K. is married and has one son. She lives in Vinogradovo in western Ukraine. Antonina runs a small business selling china, glassware and pottery at the central city market. She has been in this trade for 6 years. Currently, her monthly gross income is about $2000.
Antonina decided to start this business because of low competition in the market. Moreover, her family situation forced her to find ways to provide a stable income. Her son had been very sick for a while and Antonina had to work day and night to earn enough so she could buy necessary medication for him. Her perseverance, integrity, openness and natural cheerfulness have been key success factors for her business as they have ensured friendly relationships with her customers who willingly became her loyal clients. We believe her rich experience working in this sphere of business will help Antonina pass other significant business milestones and achieve even more success in her trade.
