Marie-Claire vit avec son mari et ses enfants depuis 13 ans à Ekpè, dans la commune de Sèmè-Podji au Bénin. Marie-Claire supporte avec son mari les charges de la famille. Marie-Claire n'a pas été à l'école. Cela fait près de 7 ans que Marie-Claire vend des bois de chauffage à Ekpè, pour subvenir à ses besoins. C'est à Pahou dans le département de l'Atlantique au Bénin, que Marie-Claire s'approvisionne. Marie-Claire a déjà bénéficié d'un crédit à ALIDé, crédit qu'elle a bien remboursé. En vue de renforcer son activité et de satisfaire plus sa clientèle, Marie-Claire sollicite un deuxième crédit auprès de ALIDé.
