The so-called “Señoras del Sur” (Ladies of the South) are a group of 11 members who have been working with the Pro-Mujer family for about 3.5 years. They meet in the center of Villa Exaltación. Maria T. will be the president in this work cycle. She is 24 years old, married, and has children. Together with her husband, she sells electronic devices in the Senkata region (El Alto). She buys these products wholesale in order to then sell them retail. Maria hopes to obtain higher income in order to be able to save and to obtain an apartment that requires payment up-front, since at the moment she lives in a rental.


The rest of the association currently has different businesses; for example, Carmen sells seasonal fruits, Victoria sells groceries, Limberth is a public transport driver, and Wilma, Maria del Carmen and Veronica make and sell food.

Las denominadas “Señoras del Sur” son un grupo de once integrantes que continúan trabajando junto a la familia de Pro-Mujer hace tres años y medio aproximadamente. Se reúnen en el centro focal Villa Exaltación. Maria T. será la presidente en este ciclo de trabajo, ella tiene 24 años, casada y con hijos, junto a su esposo se dedica a la venta de artefactos electrónicos en la zona de Senkata (El Alto), compra estos productos de mayoristas para luego venderlos al detalle. Maria tiene la ilusión de conseguir ingresos mayores para poder ahorrar y conseguir una vivienda en anticrítico, ya que de momento ella vive en alquiler. El resto de la asociación actualmente tiene distintos negocios; por ejemplo Carmen vende frutas de temporada, Victoria comercia con abarrotes, Limberth es chofer de transporte público, Wilma al igual que Maria del Carmen y Verónica elaboran y venden comida.
La asociación “Señoras de Sur”, desea aumentar sus ventas, para este objetivo necesitan capital para la compra de mercadería o insumos.
