Despite the hardships and difficulties of life, Marites Dizon and her husband want to send their eight children to school so that they will find a good job someday. They sacrifice their time and endure hardships for the sake of their children. The family lives in the village of Baresbes, Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya.


As a way of making income, Marites' husband cultivates their farm lot by planting rice and vegetables, and sometimes he also works as a carpenter. Marites sells snacks and vegetables in their village to help her husband gain income. She wants to sell more snacks and vegetables, but she doesn't have enough capital.
