Eric Williams is the leader of a group of five borrowers called “God time is the best”. He is 28 years old and is a single youth who is a high school graduate presently studying electronics at the Monrovia Vocational Training Center in Monrovia, the capital of Liberia. Eric lives and work on the Kebbah Road, Barnerville, north of Monrovia.
Eric’s business is the sale of GSM companies’ cellphone recharge cards, money exchange and the sale of petroleum (gasoline) by the gallon to residents of Kebbah. He started his business with $200 that was given to him by his sister. He has been running this business for four years and is hoping to improve to the importation of consumer goods into Liberia in the future.
Eric talks to customers with a good manner in order to encourage them to continue promoting his business. His difficulties are when distributors delay with recharge cards and the scarcity of petroleum in the country.
Eric needs this loan to purchase more recharge cards, petroleum and as add-up cash to use for his money-exchange to improve business. He dreams of giving his family a better education so as to prepare them for their future ahead.
