Thai K., 26, is single and lives in Phnom Penh City with his parents. He makes a living as an interpreter and also rents parts of his house to workers who are employed in a nearby garment factory. He is the main source of income for his family, earning $9 per day to help cover expenses. K. and his family members are seeking to improve their standard of living. That is why he has applied for a loan of US $650 to repair his house. By doing so, he hopes to give his renters better living conditions. This is his first loan from Kiva partner CREDIT.
