Azumi, fifty-two years old, is married and has six children. Currently, two of her children are in school and the rest are working. She is a trader and trades in clothes and different kinds of scarves. She normally buys her supplies on credit and pays back when the goods are sold. She is, however, convinced that her business can grow better with increased working capital. She wants to use the loan to purchase clothes and scarves in bulk to enable her to reduce her cost base and to increase her income. She hopes to use part of her profit to purchase decent shelter for her family in the future. It is her greatest desire to expand her business.
