Rosina is 56 years old, married and the mother of six children. Five of her children are in school. She works hard to help her husband support their family while also taking care of their home. Rosina makes a living producing and selling palm oil, which she makes from palm nuts. Palm oil is popular in her area because it is used to prepare many local dishes such as fried fish and pastries, as well as soap. She sells her supplies to food vendors, and also uses it to make her own special dish, rice with gravy. She would like to increase her output of palm oil, but is limited by a lack of funds. Rosina has applied for this loan to buy more palm fruit, rice, vegetables and equipment. She believes this loan will allow her to put money aside to continue to educate her children, and would very much appreciate your assistance.
