Eng H., 55, is married and lives with her four children in the Kampong Cham province. She and her husband are farmers who make a combined income of around US$1.60 each day. Three of her children work as well. Two of her children are garment factoriey workers and one is a construction worker. The agriculture industry has really suffered in Cambodia over the past year, as the climate has had unfavorable conditions and inflation has been high. Eng H. is asking for a loan of US$1000 to purchase construction tools for her children.
