Claudia Estela
Claudia is 38 years old and a single mother of two children, ages 10 and 13, who attend the neighborhood primary school. She lives in Hialeah and with much effort has managed to construct her small humble house, half of stone and half of cement board. She hopes in the future to make it all concrete.

Claudia has for ten years sold clothes and cosmetics for credit and cash. Two years ago she went to Costa Rica to work in the banana plantations, selling off her merchandise. The sale went well at first, but the customers began to ask for credit and she trusted them too much. Often, they didn't pay her. This is why her general store reached the brink of bankruptcy and she had to stop selling.

Now, with this 6th loan she wishes to invest in clothes, cosmetics, perfume and other items which will help her recuperate capital, gain customers, and help her beautiful children in their education, so that they may have a better future.
