Stella is 34 years old and is married with three children. Currently all her children are still schooling. Her husband has been very supportive in taking care of the children.
Stella works very hard and approaches her business with commitment. She has been a food vendor for seven years now. She prepares and serves her customers with gari (roasted cassava) and beans. Gari and cooked beans is a local food enjoyed by many Ghanaians for lunch.
Stella obtains her raw materials from the farming communities to prepare her meals. She wants to use the loan to buy gari, beans, vegetables, etc., in bulk to meet the daily demands of her customers. She hopes to use part of her profits to pay her children’s educational fees.
