Humberto
Humberto is 56 years old, a father of three school-going children and lives with his wife who supports him much, especially with his business.

For 5 years he has had a small farm, a two-hour boat ride away on the river Ucayali. He grows citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapefruits, and tangerines) on 8 hectares. Don Humberto enjoys keeping his plants in good state to continue producing properly. On the other hand it is profitable because he harvests between 1000 and 1500 pieces of fruit ready for the market each week. He counts on the support of his wife who is a very good saleswoman, but he also has customers that come to his farm to buy his fruits directly.

This is second loan with MFP and he likes to work with his community bank as due to this methodology he is getting ahead with his business, and his partners are responsible and solidary individuals. With the money requested he will buy fertilizers for his plants as well as rice grains to be sown on his farm as the season for this cereal is approaching.
