Liliana Escalante Saldaña

Liliana is a member of the Mariscalense Communal Bank, which is located in the District of Juanjui, Mariscal Cáceres Province, Department of San Martín. She is 24 years old, in a common law marriage, and has one dependent child who attends school.

From a very young age, Liliana learned how to work by herself and become independent. She previously traveled to neighboring villages selling clothes, which enabled her to accumulate a little bit of savings. Now with the help and expertise of her mother-in-law, she sells pigs from a farm located outside of the city. Her daily routine begins at 6am when she has to feed the animals. Liliana has the constant support of her husband, since the two of them work together. She is very pleased with the work she has accomplished.

With her loan of 2000 soles, Liliana will buy piglets to raise and feed for later resale to her customers. Part of the money will also be used to buy pig feed, vitamins, and medicines to improve the growth and development of her animals.

Today Liliana feels she is an accomplished and independent woman. She continues to strive for her other dreams. She thanks Manuela Ramos for helping her start her business and supporting many more women who want to grow as entrepreneurs.

Liliana, pertenece al Banco Comunal “Mariscalense”, Distrito de Juanjui, Provincia Mariscal Cáceres, Departamento de San Martín. Es Conviviente, tiene 24 años y 01 hijo que aun dependen de ella y esta estudiando.

Liliana, es una mujer que desde muy joven, aprendió a trabajar sola e independiente, se dedicaba a la venta de mercadería de ropas, trasladándose por diferentes pueblos aledaños, fue ahorrando poco a poco y gracias a esto actualmente, con el apoyo y enseñanza de su suegra, se dedica a la venta de cerdos, ubicada en un fundo fuera de la Ciudad, donde diariamente a partir de las 6:00 am. se dirige a su fundo, para alimentar a sus animales.
Además cuenta con un apoyo constante de su esposo, los dos trabajan mutuamente y Liliana se siente muy contenta con el trabajo que realiza.

Con este préstamo de S/ 2,000.00, comprará cerdos bebes, para criarlos y alimentarlos y luego ofrecer a sus clientes. Parte del dinero también lo invertirá comprando alimento balanceado, vitaminas y ampollas, para mejorar el crecimiento de sus animales.

Hoy en día se siente una mujer realizada e independiente, con ganas de seguir luchando y hacer realidad sus demás sueños. Agradece al Movimiento Manuela Ramos por ayudarla a iniciar su negocio y también a muchas mujeres que quieren crecer empresarialmente.
