Muth C., 21, is married with a young child and two older children. She resides in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia with her husband and children. To make a living, she sells a few types of cakes, earning approximately $15 per day. The family is also assisted by her husband who is currently employed as an electrician in the town. He is able to earn about $4 per day to support the education of their three children and help cover the household expenses. Mrs. C. and her husband are seeking to improve their standard of living and to generate a better income. Therefore, she is asking for a loan of $700 to purchase a motorbike to transport fruit to the market.
