Union Por El Progreso Group
He has been working with Edaprospo-Prosperidad for two years. He is the president of the Unión por el Progreso Communal Bank. The Communal Bank is comprised of 11 members who are engaged in different activities like recycling, selling clothes, selling food, and having a convenience store and other things.
For eight years Humberto has been selling chicken soup. His business is located near the last HGK stop in Huaycan. With his recent loan he plans to buy a freezer to better preserve his supplies. Up until now he has been able to raise the walls on his house with decent material (bricks), but his goal is to finish building it (put on a roof, lay a floor, etc) in order to later open a convenience store.

Con su reciente préstamo planifica comprar una congeladora para conservar mejor sus insumos. Hasta el momento a logrado levantar las P. D. su vivienda con material noble (ladrillos) pero su anhelo es terminar D. construirL. (techar, ponerle piso, etc.), para aperturar mas adelante una bodega.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee.
