Pepita A., 51 years old, is a rice farmer. She has six children. Though she is getting older and tilling the farm is becoming more difficult, Pepita is still strong and capable of managing a farm business. She is hoping to get a business loan to strengthen her business. This loan will enable her achieve a maximum harvest of her rice plants.
Pepita requests a loan of Php 7,000 from Community Economic Ventures Inc. The loan will be used to buy all the farming necessities and pay for the laborers to help till the farm land.
