Tessie G. is from the village of Tumpagon, Cagayan de Oro City. She is 39-years old. Tessie is married and has three school-aged children. She owns and operates a sari-sari (variety) retail store, which sells a variety of different products in the local community. Tessie has been engaged in her business for over two years.
In 2008, Tessie joined HSPFI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Tessie has successfully repaid a previous loan from HSPFI. Tessie is requesting a new loan of $250, which will be used to purchase new items to expand her product offering. This loan will be the 4th loan taken out by Tessie from HSPFI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from her business to supplement income of the family.
