Esi is a 50-year-old woman. She is married with four children who are currently in school. She is a baker and a food vendor. She sells banku. Banku is prepared from milled maize grains and it is taken with hot pepper or soup. She has many customers since it is enjoyed by many Ghanaian as lunch and supper. She also bakes bread to supply to grocery shops around her vicinity.
She wants to use the loan to buy more raw materials like bags of maize, meat, fish, vegetables, firewood, flour, baking powder, sugar, margarine, etc. She hopes to increase her income to support her children’s education.
