Mohamed is 36 years old and is married with three kids. He is engaged in the rental of DVDs and also operates a phone centre.
For the past seven years, Mohamed has been selling and renting DVDs. Prior to his current location, Mohamed sold and rented DVDs from his backpack, traveling to his customers. He was constantly moving around to meet his customers until he rented a shop with money he saved over the years. He is very hardworking and works from 8:00 am to 11:00 p.m. daily. His wife usually assists him in the shop.
Mohamed is seeking a loan to buy more DVDs to stock his shop and to buy more calling cards to better operate his phone centre. He hopes that the profits from the loan will be used to pay for his children’s schooling. This is Mohamed’s first loan.
