Juan Sebastian
Juan Sebastian is in his fourth loan cycle. He works in dressmaking for young girls together with his mother, who is a 65-year-old artisan and has been in the business for the past 30 years. Along with her children, she makes clothing for young girls – dresses, shirts, nightgowns, and anything else that the customer requests. She manages the shop with much enthusiasm and energy, despite suffering from a leg impairment. She hires seasonal help for the embroidery of the garments, especially at the end of the year when she has the most requests and sends her garments abroad. Juan Sebastian Curiti is her right-hand man since he sews the garments in the industrial sewing machines with agility. The work that he does is redeeming because he also studies at the university in his free time.
