Angelique U. is 31 years old and is married with three children ages 2, 6 and 9. She also is responsible for an additional dependent who lives with the family and is 12 years old. Angelique and her family live in the Nyarugenge district of Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
Angelique recently (in 2008) opened a restaurant and employs three persons in her business. Her restaurant is open every day from 6:00 in the morning to 10:00 in evening.
Angelique is requesting her first loan from Vision Finance Company in order to have sufficient working capital to purchase more fish and cooking oil for her restaurant. With this loan she hopes to increase her business, which will help her to serve more customers.
