Leonisa D. is from the town of Malibangcao, Clarin, Misamis Occidental. She is 42 years old, is married, and has five school-aged children.
Leonisa owns and operates a "carinderia" (an eatery), preparing and selling cooked food for daily meals. She has been engaged in her business for over twenty years and earns approximately 30,000 PHP a month.
In 2004, Leonisa joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. She has successfully repaid a previous loan 25,000 PHP from GDMPC.
