Thaong P. is 27 years old and lives with her husband in the Takeo province. She is a garment factory worker who is able to make US $2 of profit each day; her husband, Nov Dy (pictured here) stays at home making and selling brooms at the local market. He typically makes about US $4 of profit each day. Thaong P. would like to take out a loan of US $800 so that her husband can purchase a motorbike, with which he can transport brooms to the market.
